The Connect Network is expanding with established communities in the North East of England, Cumbria, and Scotland.

John O’Connor

The Connect Network partners with national churches to cultivate organic, welcoming missional communities where individuals who found faith in prison, along with their wider families and communities, can belong, contribute, and thrive.

Witnessing incredible growth across our Connect communities, we launched our first group in Newcastle's heart. We have experienced the Gospel's life-changing power for offenders and their wider families. Many church leaders, charities, and organisations have since visited us to discover how they could start a Connect in their own local area.

Connect
Growth

In 2025, we have experienced significant growth in our opportunity pipeline, with the number of enquiries for new potential Connect launches now exceeding 20. These opportunities represent a diverse range of interest from organisations and communities across the UK—stretching from London in the south to Perth in the north of Scotland. This geographic spread not only highlights the broad appeal and adaptability of our model but also demonstrates the increasing national recognition of the value Connect can bring.

After living as homeless drug addicts in a tent in central Middlesbrough, a couple found hope at Middlesbrough Connect, where they embraced the transformative power of Jesus and began their journey of recovery. Now, with regular discipleship, a new home, freedom from addiction, and a job at Iceland, they are rebuilding their lives, including regaining access to their children with the help of social services.
