Who we are

Connect is rooted in Junction 42’s history of working with the marginalised since 1999. We have seen 100s of men and women encounter the transforming power of the gospel. We set up our first connect community in Newcastle back in 2010. We have now grown and have 7 communities across the North East of England and Scotland.

Connect communities are vibrant, worshipping communities that are created when those from the church work with those from the edge to create a mutual space, expressing the characteristics and personalities of the people who attend.

Come and visit us at one of the connect communities in your area. We are passionate about creating community amongst those on the edges and the marginalised. We believe God sets the lonely in family psalm 68,6, so come and join us you are very welcome.

Endorsement

This partnership with the connect network and Junction 42 has not only allowed us to reach deeper into those communities with the love of God. It has also mobilised our church up, into more effectively serving and demonstrating Gods love to those areas in Teesside.

CR

After her son attempted suicide, she started praying for God to save his life, he miraculously came out of the coma and through Rehab found out about  Stockton Connect, he got baptized, started his Christian journey and is now doing amazing. I can’t thank you enough for that.”

G & R

After living as homeless drug addicts in a tent in central Middlesbrough, a couple found hope at Middlesbrough Connect, where they embraced the transformative power of Jesus and began their journey of recovery. Now, with regular discipleship, a new home, freedom from addiction, and a job at Iceland, they are rebuilding their lives.
